3 Quick Tips To Improve Your Appearance

I’m a big fan of quick, simple effective tools that produce dramatic results. Below are some very quick and effective steps you can take to not only to improve your appearance, but also to build self confidence.

Posture

Proper posture is VERY important. You are judged by what you look like. Full stop. No matter the clothes you wear, you can improve your attitude and they way people treat and react to you. If you are a short guy you can appear taller, as a tall guy you can enhance that gift. If you don’t know what proper posture is Mike Cernovich has a great article with pictures that you can read. In summary keep your head up high, shoulders back – think of leading your body with your chest. Remind yourself to do this daily, or perhaps several times a day and you will notice a big change.

Eye contact

I wrote a challenge on this a while back, but I can’t state enough how important proper eye contact is.  Don’t be the first to break eye contact. I tried this several weeks ago when I was at Universal Studios with people I would pass, and almost subconsciously my eyes would dart away as soon as their eyes locked on mine. It really pissed me off. I didn’t want to come off as creepy or weird, however I challenged myself. I would break contact after they did.

wear what fits you

Seems simple right? For some reason people buy their clothes, gain or lose 50 lbs and don’t change their wardrobe.

Don’t dress for the size you want to be, dress for the size you are currently.

These three steps are simple and very effective, something even you can do every day. You will feel better about yourself and will be treated better by those around you.

Stay Superior!
